It's a beautiful park but it looks like the state isn't maintaining it well. The lake was filled with green algae, making me wonder what kind of conservation effort is underway if any at all. I would neither go fishing nor boating here because of it.
Even thou the lake is nice, there were no trails for hiking, doesn't look like they take care of the park very well. No place for family activities there, wish there could had been more to see and do.
Quiet place to fish. Wish you didnt have to travel so much gravel to gey there. So don't go real often because of that.
Good fishing and wide open spaces
Great lake, beautiful setting, but by mid to late summer the water gets the worst algae I've ever seen other than farm ponds. Terrible land management around and what a shame. Without this it would be 5 star.
